Copper watering cans have the advantage that the antibacterial properties of copper prevent water from spoiling, and the copper ions that dissolve into the water help moss grow better on the tray.
When using room temperature water, a strainer is attached to the water inlet to make it easier to use water from a water bottle that has rainwater with leaves and debris floating in it.
By making the pole of the watering can longer, the water pressure can be controlled, and by changing the spout at the end of the watering can to an angled one, a flat one, or one with a different number of holes from which the water comes out, it is possible to fine-tune the water to suit preference.
