Exhibition Notice: Scenes of Clay
A tidy workplace, a bundle of firewood neatly stacked before an earthen wall.
A stack of Yama-chawan, broken pots, and artworks having strong presence.
Osamu Inayoshi, wearing leather pants so they can get dirty, is a mysterious man who always says things that sound like jokes. While possessing clear preferences and strong convictions, he also embodies an inclusive and generous spirit capable of adapting to anything.
He chose the path of pottery because he couldn't bear seeing his beloved grandfather placed in an impersonal urn after his passing.
Perhaps because of his character, his work conveys both strength and a sense of kindness and sincerity.
At the Landscipe Showroom, we invite you to focus your attention on the pottery of Osamu Inayoshi. Entrusting the firing process to nature, his works transcends the trends of the times.

Exhibition Announcement
The colors of Niha
It's the season when plants sprout and the new green leaves are dazzling to the eye.
Suwa Yuumi says that Makoto Ooka’s famous essay “Power of words” inspired her to enter the world of dyeing. He weaved transparent words to capture the brilliance of life that lurks in ordinary moments, such as changing of the seasons.
The ever-changing sight of spring plants is so powerful and fast-paced that you won't want to miss a single moment of it.
Plants quietly store energy and possess invisible sparks of life. This time we asked Suwa to express these in the form of colors.
I hope you can feel the hidden wildness of the Landskip garden that has been brought to light by her work.
◼ ︎Artist profile
Suwa Yuumi
After reading about Sakura-dyeing in a textbook, she became interested in natural dyeing.
After graduating from a fashion school, she worked at a dyeing factory and an apparel manufacturer before going freelance.
Captivated by the joy, mystery, and above all, the beauty of drawing color from plants, she travels around the country: staying and " recording the colors of the land” by using local plants.
◼ ︎Date and time: May 24, 2025 (Sat) - June 1, 2025 (Sun)
Open throughout the period 11:00 - 18:00

Announcement of Plant Dyeing Workshop
Join Yuumi Suwa and explore the Niwa of Landscipe, where you'll collect plants and use them to dye fabrics in the colors of early summer.
Please bring what you’d like to dye (Natural fibers or at least 60 % natural materials).
If you wish, you can purchase the fabric (Khadi Cotton, Khadi Silk Cotton, Khadi Silk) by the metre and have it dyed.
The colors that you can achieve depend on the type of fabric, plants, season, water, and mordanting method —so the possibilities are endless!
