<Flower vase>
This is a soft, rounded vase that gives off the texture of earth.
The carbonization process creates a natural look, allowing you to see a variety of different expressions from all angles.
Shimomura creates his pottery using only natural materials and does not use glazes.
Beeswax is also used to keep water out, so if you leave water in the container for a few days, a water line may appear on the surface or water may slowly seep out to the bottom.

1993 Graduated from Mie University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts, Majoring in Sculpture
1995-1997 Worked at Kosekitouen Co., Ltd. (Seto City)
1998-2003 Studied under Hiromi Itabashi at the WINDS Ceramic Art Institute (Tokyo)
2004 First solo exhibition "Africa" ​​Makii Masaru Fine Arts (Shinbashi)
Since then, he has held solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Wakayama, and Tottori.
