This cypress kagami mochi has beautiful grain from the white wood of the pine tree.

The Kagami mochi, a New Year decoration to welcome the new year god, is expressed with the softness that only high-quality cypress material can provide. The orange, which is said to be a symbol of prosperity of descendants because the fruit does not fall even when ripe and the old and new generations of fruit grow on the same tree, is carefully hand-carved by a sculptor and the stem is embedded with boxwood. The material is yew, which is praised as the number one fine wood. The beautiful grain and orange color are attractive, and it is a lucky tree for success and advancement in life according to its origin. The artificial pine is decorated with moss, adding a dignified atmosphere.
It is especially recommended for offices and hospitals where perishable food cannot be stored.
*Kagami mochi is unpainted to show off the beauty of the wood. Therefore, cypress oil, which has antibacterial properties, may seep out.
